Mary, I saw your work at the Visual Arts Minnesota gallery/gift shop. I am the assistant director at Great River Arts Association in Little Falls, MN. I am interested in talking to you about showing in one of our galleries. Hope to hear from you soon! Michelle
I go to Spirit of Life Church in St Cloud and really enjoy the paintings you are displaying there. One really calls to me. I don’t see it here on your website. I was wondering about prices. Nancy
Does the MN artist website reflect which of your paintings is for sale? Are they on exhibit anywhere in the twin cities currently? I may make it down to Faribault, but it’s a bit of a hike. thanks.
Hello Mary,
So glad to see that you will be having a show at GRAA in August 2013. Hope I can see you then. Love your work and so glad to see you are such a prolific artist. A long way from Art Sign. Cher Purvis
I saw one of your pieces hanging in my new building at work. I really enjoyed the Path 9 piece and would be interested in seeing more of your work. Do you have any exhibits coming up?
I was suggested this blog by my cousin. I’m not sure whether this post is written by him as no one else know such detailed about my difficulty. You are wonderful! Thanks! eacddfekdbcd
Hi Mary – My name is Shari Gransee and I own Fine Line Designs Gallery in Door County, WI. I am very interested in representing your beautiful work and would love for you to contact me. Thank you for your time. I love your work!
Mary, your painting of Sanborn Lake looks like it was painted from the yard of my cabin on Sanborn Lake. (west side of lake). Can I ask where you were when you painted it? I love it!
Hi Mary- I am the gallery director at Kelley Gallery in Woodbury, MN. I am very interested in representing your work in both our Woodbury, MN & Hudson, WI galleries. I came across your work on the MN Artist page & fell in love with it. Please contact me. Thank you.
I love your work, total knock out art! I wish I could find a small piece to buy or where your price ranges start at. Let me know if you have any small sets for sale or long piece that isn’t the highest price.
I am a board member of the Bemidji Area Arts Endowment (BAAE).
I fell in love with your work when displayed at the Wild Hare Bistro this summer and would like to invite you to become one of BAAE’s featured artists at this year’s s October 1, Ooh La La for the Arts event.
Annually, BAAE holds a fundraiser and auction for the arts called, “Ooh La La for the Arts.” Proceeds from tickets and the auction go to support arts events and education in Bemidji and the surrounding area.
Each year, fine-arts artists like you, donate a work of art to be auctioned off at Ooh La La for the Arts. Each contributing artist receives two to four tickets ($50 each) to the event, based on the value of their contributed work. A starting bid is noted on each work. Bidding closes near the end of the event so lucky buyers can take their purchases home with them. Contributing artists are encouraged to invite friends and family to attend the event. It is a grand evening featuring a variety of artists and art enthusiasts.
Ooh La La for the Arts will be held Sunday October 1, 2017, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, at the beautiful Sparkling Waters Restaurant located on Lake Bemidji’s south waterfront. If you are interested in being a featured artist at this year’s event, please contact me.
My name is Steven Wennblom, Program manager and producer for Prairie Public for North Dakota. Prairie Public has received funding from the Minnesota Legacy fund since 1988 to produce programs and interstitials for Public Media. So, I am working to produce 6-minute segments for a three year old program called Prairie Mosaic.
First, in reading your Bio, I understand that you “anticipate the way light peeks through trees and sparkles on the lakes.”
Knowing that you are an artist… would you be interested in participating with us in a site visit and the opportunity to watch you creatively paint your many landscape views.
Thank you for allowing this e-mail. I await your reply.
Good Afternoon Mary; This afternoon a friend visiting Naples Florida saw the ad in the passport for HW Gallery. She immediately sent me the image. The work is wonderful. I called HW. Emily kindly sent me a larger image of the original.
This work is (without prejudice) a flopped dead ringer for a work I did a number of years ago. Mine was on the Don River in Toronto. Mine was done in a style I’ve been working in for almost 50 years, in watercolour.
If you would like to see “Parkview” I would be glad to send along a higher resolution image than the one on my website.
I went to your website to see what I could see. Your consistency of style while examining the subject matter is very appealing. Congratulations
I’m reaching out to tempt you to submit work for our upcoming exhibition with the Natural Heritage Project. The organization was founded with the purpose of advocating for wildlife and habitat restoration, a generalized statement that translates into exciting exhibition/public engagement opportunities that inspire people to see and share their lives with nature in unexpected ways.
I’d specifically like to spark your interest in submitting to two collaborative exhibitions entitled, “With the Grain” and “In Your Element.” I’ve attached the calls which end May 15, 2019. The exhibitions will be hosted by community partners, AZ Gallery located in Lowertown, St. Paul and the Hudson Hospital and Clinic in Hudson, WI.
For more information or to complete a submission form visit “Call for Art” on our website.
Yes. Most of the work you see on this site is for sale, unless is it marked Sold or NA. I currently have 3 galleries that represent my work and handle sales: Douglas Flanders and Assoc., Milward Farrell Fine Arts, and HW Gallery (see the Gallery page for more information). If you are interested in a specific work, you can let me know and I will give you price details and availability.

I saw your “four seasons” panels at the airport in Minneapolis/At Paul and loved them! Your process is fascinating and unique. Thank you for letting us see the woods through your eyes and sensibilities.
Like you I’m a tree lover. When I can get back to my own fiber art work I want to design some small quilts with my beloved Manitoba trees — birches, poplars, furs and pines. And snowscapes. Living in Texas for more than 30 years I appreciate bare trees — seeing theirs ‘bones’ — and the colors of snow more than ever.
Mary, I would love to buy prints of your work if you make them available. I don’t see any opportunities to support your work in this way, but I’d love to have of your art in my home. Thank you for your creativity.
Hi Selena,
Thank you for your interest.
I have many works for sale. To purchase you would need to contact one of my galleries. Douglas Flanders & Assoc. is in Minneapolis and represents my work everywhere and has many works on hand. He can also obtain any work that is for sale that you might be interested in. His email is douglasflanders.assoc@gmail.com. Milward Farrell Fine Arts in Madison, WI has many of my works (16) and HW Gallery in Naples, Florida also has many of my paintings. You can get their contact information in the Gallery section of my WordPress site.
I enjoyed exhibiting at Wild Hare and I’m glad you saw my work there.
