April dreams

Swamp 5 , 36X36″, Oil on canvas

It’s been a cold spring this year.  The snow just kept falling and everyone I talked to was obsessed with the weather.  Instead of April showers, the landscape looked like December. Finally, it is warming up and the snow is melting.  It doesn’t look like spring yet, but the loons are back, the frogs are croaking, things are looking up.

I’m lucky to live inside my mind, most of the time.  It’s the advantage of being an artist—- creating a visual world, one that I choose. These three paintings were completed this month.
