October 2017

Fall is a visually intense ride.  Some years, color explodes with such exuberance and then quickly burns out in about a week.  I’m not sure how long this year’s show will be.  We went for a walk in Itasca State Park yesterday.  Our timing was perfect, as the sun showed up along with a vibrant blue sky.  The understory, the oaks, the aspen and the maples were all ablaze in color.

I’ll include some recent fall paintings.
