Many of my paintings come from walks I take in my own neighborhood. On of my favorite walks is through the woods across the street from our home, down woodland paths kindly created by our neighbors, and to a small little jewel of a lake called Little Deep. The waters are pristine. I often see loons, osprey and swans. Rarely do I see any other people. It’s like a private, magical sanctuary. I’ve painted the lake eighteen times and I’m sure I’ll paint it many more.
Thank you, Betty and Craig, for allowing us to walk on your beautiful land.
