Spring has arrived with gusto. Within a couple weeks, the woods went from bare to lush, rich green. Birds are everywhere, the hummingbirds are chasing each other, the robin and phoebe parents are busy feeding their young in our back yard. At night we drift off to sleep to the sound of frogs, loons, owls, and of course Junebugs beating themselves against the window screens and the menacing buzz of mosquitoes. The garden is planted and growing quickly, although I would like more flowers—- NOW! Patience is not my strong suit.
