We’re nearly buried in snow this March. It’s a great time for painting, and thinking about spring.
Jim and I have been busy preparing for my next exhibit in April at the Wild Hare Bistro in Bemidji. I’m calling the show “Wetland” , as it will feature paintings of lakes, rivers, and swamps from Minnesota. I’ve shown at this restaurant/coffee shop several times because I love the place—it’s atmosphere, good food and coffee, and very cool people preparing the food. I’m anticipating exhibiting about 12 paintings, eight of those are venturing away from home for the first time. And I’ll be bringing some homemade cookies for the opening on April 5, from 3-5 pm. I’m known for my cookies, but it’s my mom’s old recipes and tons of butter that make them good. Here’s one of the paintings I’ll be exhibiting:
